YOGA CLASSES
1 | Slow Flow (Monday & Wednesday Evenings)
A gentle, flowing vinyasa practice designed to help you unwind and reset at the end of the day.
Vinyasa means “to place in a special way,” and in these classes we move through a sequence of postures, linking breath with movement in a steady, mindful rhythm.
The pace is धी and considered, allowing time to explore each posture and move in a way that feels right for your body. You’re always encouraged to work within your own comfort and ability, making this class suitable for all levels.
During the autumn and winter months, classes are held by candlelight, creating a calm and restful atmosphere. We close with longer-held stretches to release tension and prepare the body for rest.
2 | Energising Flow (Friday Morning)
A brighter, more uplifting vinyasa practice to start your day feeling refreshed and energised.
This class follows a similar flowing style, but with a slightly quicker pace and a more dynamic feel. Moving more fluidly between postures, you’ll build warmth, strength, and focus.
While the pace is a little faster, this doesn’t mean the class is more difficult — in fact, slower movement can often be more challenging. As always, you’re encouraged to move in a way that suits your body.
There’s also more opportunity to explore energising and uplifting postures that we tend to soften or leave out of the evening sessions.
3 | Yin Yoga & Sound Bath
Offered as special events throughout the year, these sessions are designed as a deeply restorative experience for both body and mind.
Each event is a two-hour journey into stillness and relaxation. We begin with yin yoga — a slow, meditative practice inspired by traditional Chinese principles. Postures are held for longer periods, supported by props to allow the body to soften and gently release.
Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, yin works beneath the muscles, targeting the fascia and connective tissues. This helps to improve mobility, ease tension, and encourage a deeper sense of calm. The practice is accompanied by soothing music, creating a peaceful and grounding atmosphere.
The session then transitions into a sound bath, where you are invited to rest comfortably and simply receive. Using instruments such as gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and bells, layers of sound and vibration are created to promote deep relaxation and a sense of inner balance.
These sessions are held approximately three to four times a year and offer a rare opportunity to fully switch off, reset, and restore.
